]]> We at Yatan fulfilled our responsibility to make every girl child aware of Menstruation. We told them how to maintain hygiene and cleanliness during menstruation and what precautions to take while they are menstruating. This event aimed to educate and empower individuals with accurate information on menstrual health, and hygiene practices and breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation. It helped them learn about sustainable menstrual products, proper sanitation, and how to support menstrual health in our community. We wish to work together to create a world where menstruation is understood, respected, and managed with dignity.

With the help of a video, we taught the girls about the biological change which is a result of Menstruation. A proper sanitary pad disposal method was demonstrated and taught. Hygiene practices were reinforced, and girls also received sanitary pads at the end of the session. Other menstrual hygiene products like tampons, menstrual cups, etc. were also introduced to them.
